We currently have exciting opportunities across our Audit Assurance & Risk Consulting Division.

Actuarial

  • Demonstrated ability to apply structured thinking and analysis techniques to complex and ambiguous problems
  • Experience or exposure to General Insurance or Life Insurance industry sectors
  • Providing advisory / consulting services across actuary, pricing, valuations, strategy advice and mergers and acquisitions.
  • Providing analytical expertise through programming languages such as python, SQL and PySpark
  • The ability to engage, lead and inspire your team to achieve personal success and great results for the business

Forensic

  • Knowledge and/or experience in Forensic Accounting, Financial Crime, Remediation, or Investigations.
  • Technical skillsets and understanding of regulatory implications and utilisation of data analytics such as SQL
  • Understanding of Financial Crime Compliance across Australian AML / CTF and sanctions, understanding current trends and best practice
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication both written and verbally
  • The ability to engage, lead and inspire your team to achieve personal success and great results for the business

Banarra

  • Experience in Consulting on human rights or social impact issues
  • Understanding of how to implement relevant methodologies across human rights, modern slavery, responsible sourcing and social procurement
  • Ability to deliver large, complex multi-stakeholder projects with inter-disciplinary project teams
  • An up to date understanding of modern social impact issues and human rights policies as they apply both in Australia and Globally

CFO Advisory

  • Lead the delivery of complex projects. This will include end to end project management, developing key client deliverables, presenting results, and liaising with senior members of the CFOA team, other KPMG teams and our clients
  • Support and advise finance teams on the development of effective financial and regulatory reporting processes. This includes interpretation of the requirements, analysing and sourcing required data, ensuring the data is effectively governed and establishing processes and controls that will enable high quality reporting to be produced
  • Assist our clients design and implement sound governance and control frameworks across their end to end financial and regulatory processes that embeds clear accountability and ownership within their organisations
  • Embed robust data governance practices into organisations to support high quality reporting
  • Support our strategic initiatives including developing innovative solutions and taking those solutions to market.
  • Work in cross divisional teams on pre and post deal finance function set-up engagements, supporting our clients to realise value and synergies from their merger and acquisition activities

Sustainability

  • Excellent knowledge in sustainability risk management, compliance and reporting
  • General sustainability technical expertise across a range of areas including climate, water, waste, air quality and biodiversity for example
  • Experience across a variety of sectors, with a strong skillset in infrastructure, government and energy and natural resource
  • Ensure effective engagement management by achieving the required realisation, revenue and profitability targets
  • Development, implementation and review of environmental, climate and sustainability strategy, targets and initiatives including Key Performance Indicators
